Curro Independent Schools is seeking a qualified and experienced English Home Language Teacher for Grades 8–11 at Curro Roodeplaat in Pretoria, commencing July 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for active teaching, knowledge transfer, skills development and fostering positive attitudes among learners through integrated and focused teaching approaches within the Curro FET phase curriculum.

2 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

BEd degree and/or PGCE in FET Phase Education
Minimum 3 years experience as an FET phase teacher
Knowledge of the IEB curriculum
SACE registration
Clear criminal record
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends
Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills

Beneficial: Honours degree in Education in the relevant subject will be advantageous.
